Regionalization, Circa 1964

The Hartford Courant published a set of articles in its Sunday editions that looked back at the Town Meeting for Tomorrow, a controversial attempt by the Greater Hartford Chamber of Commerce to persuade the towns surrounding Hartford to embrace regional government. In the main article, author and former Hartford Times reporter Stephen B. Goddard recalls Arthur J. Lumsden, who spearheaded the effort as president of the Chamber.
